Yetholm Primary School is situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders, 7 miles from Kelso and 1 mile from the Scottish/English border. The school provides primary education for pupils living in Town Yetholm, Kirk Yetholm and the surrounding farms. There are 39 children at the school in 2 classes.

Morebattle and Yetholm Playgroup
Tues/Wed 9.15am to 11.15am
Morebattle and Yetholm Playgroup was established over 30 years ago by a group of parents, and is still managed by a committee of parents. Sessions are run by a play leader, and an assistant play leader, both of whom have relevant childcare qualifications. We are a member of SSPA - Scottish Preschool Play Association and, as such, follow their policies and curriculum.
Children come to us when they are two years old and stay until they are about three, when they can attend the Scottish Borders Council run nursery at Morebattle.
Playgroup is all about having fun and learning through play. We do a variety of activities including arts and crafts, singing, playing musical instruments, gym activities, jigsaws, listening to stories and many more. We do a few trips throughout the year. The tree picture was made from materials we collected at Bowmont Forest where we went on a guided walk. Everyone had a brilliant time and enjoyed learning a little about nature.
